Clarence Starr (at car on left), Adron Turner (with hat on right) and Jim. Adron worked for Mr. Starr, as a cowboy, on his ranch. Adron said, "I punched cows by day and did the Starr's washing and ironing at night." Mr. Starr helped Adron get started, in ranching, by letting him run a few cows on his ranch, and he taught him how to drill water wells. Later, Adron bought the well drill and drilled wells, on his own ranch, and for neighbors. Adron said that Mr. Starr and the well drill were significant factors in his early success.
